Enjoy a special afternoon at The Walt Disney Family Museum and in its beautiful Fantasia-themed theater. This playdate features a reading of the book, Coco: Miguel and the Grand Harmony from the author Matt de la Peña and illustrator Ana Ramirez and a screening of The Sword and the Stone. In this family-friendly event, learn about Miguel and his adventures, and find out how Ana Ramirez created the whimsical illustrations based on the upcoming Disney•Pixar’s film, Coco. The reading will be followed by a Q&A and book signing with de la Peña and Ramirez. Coco: Miguel and the Grand Harmony will be available for purchase at the Museum Store.
After story time, you will be treated to the screening of the Disney classic, The Sword and the Stone. When a young servant boy living in medieval times crosses path with the great wizard Merlin, his world is turned upside down. Follow Merlin, young Wart, and the many fun characters they meet through a series of magical misadventures in this beautifully animated film from 1963.
