Join us on Sunday, April 14 for a special celebration at the National Gallery of Art from 11am-5pm!
The Wilmerding Community Celebration marks the opening of Oliver Lee Jackson: Recent Paintings with a program that weaves the rich sounds, rhythms, and colors of jazz with visual art. Activities include in-gallery exploration, artmaking, live performances including Charity Blackwell (a spoken word and poetry specialist, and Director of Creative Arts and Education at DC Scores.)
Note: You will need to check-in with Gallery Educators at the celebration welcome table to receive your program of activities and 20% coupons to use in the Gallery Cafés!
While this is a ticketed playdate through MN, the event itself is open to the public and all are welcome.
