At Growing IQ, we engage children in collaborative, sensory rich experiences, empowering them to analyze, discover, examine, reason, think critically, and take ownership of their mathematical learning. We strive to create a generation of problem solvers who can contribute to and thrive in an evolving global community. We focus on children ages 3 ½ to 11, where we believe the early experiences of cognitive reasoning provides the foundation for all future learning, and is the true architecture of the brain. Critical thinking and developing logical analysis is always at the center of our learning methodology and curriculum, where we introduce advanced mathematical concepts through the use of manipulatives and interactive materials to stimulate the right-brain. Growing IQ students grasp concepts at a fundamental level; instead of memorizing formulas and rules, they learn to ask questions and view math problems creatively. Growing IQ teachers guide children to realize their creative potential and harness their imaginative skills. We create THINKERS, not followers. Growing IQ centers its attention on student engagement in mathematical inquiry, extending our students beyond procedural understanding. Students will engage in collaborative experiences with their peers, creating their own conclusions, and justifying their understandings. These methodologies are the cornerstone of what we do, and – the core of the way we teach.
