ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for FREE admission on Saturday, June 15 at the New York Hall of Science and experience all the museum has to offer! “Space Out” with new exhibits, programs, events and more as NYSCI celebrates 50 years since NASA's Apollo 11 mission put a man on the moon! Be sure to grab tickets in advance and explore outer space in the new exhibition Above and Beyond, or see the much-anticipated APOLLO 11: First Steps Edition with never-before-seen footage!

Attendees will also have access to be one of the first to see the new film, SUPERPOWER DOGS 3-D – and meet the cast (of dogs!). Visitors can meet Halo, one of the featured dogs in Superpower Dogs 3D, along with her partner Miami Dade County Fire Captain "Cat" Labrada. Learn about Halo's training and work as a Disaster Response dog and check out her new book.
Following the screening, visitors can also meet Molly, an ambassador for Superpower Dogs 3D, and background actor in the film.

If your kiddo likes to move, don’t miss Science Playground – the largest science playground in the US. A favorite of visitors, this 60,000-square-foot area contains slides, seesaws, a water play area, and dozens of other hands-on exhibits for visitors of all ages. Here children can steer, yank, crank, and use their own weight, reflexes and imagination to explore how things work. (Weather permitting.)

Notice: Everyone needs to claim an admission ticket above to receive free general admission (including all adults and children over the age of 2). Anyone without a ticket will have to purchase general admission at the door.

Add-ons are ONLY available in advance for this pricing (so you must purchase here) on Mommy Nearest. You will have to pay full price if you wait to get them at the door (and they could be sold out).

Ticket pick-up will be between 10am-11am at the front desk at a special Mommy Nearest table,  but you are welcome to stay as long as you would like.
