Elizabeth Mitchell and You Are My Flower

Twice Grammy-nominated Smithsonian Folkways artist Elizabeth Mitchell returns to Symphony Space with her family band and special guests for an engaging midwinter concert. Mitchell will present a gorgeous morning complete with homespun renditions of songs by Bob Marley, The Velvet Underground, David Bowie, Gillian Welch, and more. The quiet sweetness and intimacy of Elizabeth's concerts cement her as an icon of today's family music scene and a perennial audience favorite at Symphony Space.

Our special guests this year will be Elena Moon Park, who will be joining us to sing songs that celebrate Chinese New Year and Korean Lunar New Year, both falling on the day of the show! Also joining us will be the amazing Hilary Hawke, who will be fresh off her run performing onstage in the Broadway production of "Oklahoma."
