Come and learn about the wonderful world of music! On September 29, the Yamaha Music School of Boston will open their doors to ages 6 months-12 years to explore different levels of musical classes - for free! Be sure to claim your spot before they all sell out.
Schedule:
2:30-3pm Littlest Musician Course (ages 6 months to 3 years): This fun class introduces your little one to the joy of music with the expertise of the Yamaha Methodology. Our core principles of Comprehensive Music Education, Group Lessons and Timely Education all come together in this pint-sized music class that your Littlest Musician will love!
4-4:30pm Music Wonderland (age 3): This class is designed to provide children with an introduction to music in a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. Together with their parents, children experience singing, introductory keyboard activities, movement, and listening to music.
4:30-5pm Junior Music Course (ages 4-5): This class provides an incomparable foundation for future musical study on any instrument. Children experience singing, music reading and writing, playing the keyboard, ear training, and creating music.
5-5:30pm Junior Music Course (ages 4-5): This class provides an incomparable foundation for future musical study on any instrument. Children experience singing, music reading and writing, playing the keyboard, ear training, and creating music.
5:30-6:25pm Music Friends (ages 6-12): This unique course integrates individual and group teaching methods so that students develop playing abilities at their own pace – akin to individual lessons – and enjoy the benefits of group lessons, such as the fun of ensemble playing and solfege singing.
